The Mission of the VIS 100 is to 'clean' jumbo rolls coming from the printing
press, before adding more value to the substrate. This additional process will
drastically increase the uptime of the lamination and slitting machines, since
the jumbo reels will then be free of defect material and printing flags.
The VIS 100 reaches optimal performance when the machine integrates
the AVT Print Vision / Apollo Full width cameras. This Solution automatically
detects imperfections in real-time (Ex. Colour variations, misregistrations,
streaks, splashes, etc.) while the machine is running at full speed.
When the system finds relevant defects, the VIS 100 can automatically
reverse the winding direction and bring back the faulty web on the
splicing table.
