The chuck rotation is controlled by an AC motor equipped with a timing belt.
During the cutting action the chuck blocks the parent core and maintains the rotation action.

The chuck translation along the support shaft of the pad is controlled by a motorized recirculation ball screw.

The pad, the cradle, the pushing devices and gates can be calibrated according to the cores internal and outer diameter with great precision.

The adjustment procedure is performed manually in less than 2 minutes.

Thanks to the combined action of the Core Cutter and the Core Loader the core cutting cycle is fully automatic: once the recipe has been recalled and the parent cores have been loaded, the operator pushes the "Start" button and waits for the cut cores to drop into the basket.
